Benjamin completed his banking apprenticeship at Raiffeisenbank Schaffhausen, where he subsequently worked in investment client advisory. In 2018, he moved to BFI Infinity AG in Zurich, where he initially worked as a Junior Portfolio Manager and has been looking after wealthy US clients for the past three years.

As part of his in-service training, he successfully completed his master’s degree in business administration with a specialisation in Banking & Finance at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2021.

Benjamin Widmer is looking forward to his new role at Colin&Cie: "After an enriching time with North American clients, I wanted to focus more on the Swiss market and the Zurich/Schaffhausen area again as a wealth advisor. Colin&Cie is one of the leading independent asset managers in this region. In discussions with the people in charge, I was particularly impressed by the family environment, the innovative advisory approach and the company's ambitious growth targets.  At Colin&Cie, I can take on direct client responsibility and to develop personally and professionally in close dialogue with experienced wealth management specialists."

Walter Arnold, Managing Partner at Colin&Cie in Zurich, is also looking forward to the future collaboration: "Benjamin is young, committed, excellently trained and already has valuable professional experience. He will actively support the generational change and ensure continuity and quality of support in the future."

Benjamin Widmer is a Swiss citizen, single and lives in Schaffhausen. He developed a passion for aviation as a child and has held a gliding licence for many years. Benjamin also loves discovering other cultures and finding culinary inspiration.

Colin&Cie warmly welcomes the new colleague and wishes him a successful start.
