Colin Schär starts at Colin&Cie as a client advisor
In Switzerland, Colin&Cie warmly welcomes Colin Schär as new client advisor. The 27-year-old will complement our offices in Schaffhausen and Zurich. His professional career consist of a solid education and training as well as several years of professional experience as a client advisor in wealth management. In the following article, we introduce our new colleague.

Colin completed his apprenticeship at Lienhardt & Partner Privatbank in Zurich, where he later worked as an assistant in private banking. He then moved to Schaffhauser Kantonalbank in ‘Wealth Advisory International’. For the past four years, Colin has been a central point of contact for wealthy private clients.
Colin has an excellent knowledge of English and French. He has strengthened his professional expertise by successfully completing the ‘Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA)’ training program and will further expand this soon by acquiring a ‘Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance’.
When asked about his motivation for the current change, Colin Schär explains: ‘Due to the previous competitive situation in Schaffhausen, I have been following the positive development of Colin&Cie as an independent asset manager with a holistic advisory approach for quite some time. In the initial discussions, I was also convinced by the value-oriented business model and the long-term and successful business strategy.’
Thomas Warnecke, CEO of Colin&Cie, is delighted with the new arrival: ‘Colin is a committed and determined young man who, with his character traits, skills and – tongue in cheek – also with his first name, is a very good fit for our company. His experience in wealth management and his talent for languages will help him in providing advice to clients in our German-speaking and international target markets.’
Colin Schär grew up in Bülach, a municipality in the canton of Zurich. He has been living in Schaffhausen for several years and is enthusiastic about the diverse cultural offerings of the city by the Rhine. In his free time, Colin enjoys cooking for family and friends, reading scientific books and doing regular exercise (swimming, gym).
