Colin&Cie expands its team at the Luxembourg office
Colin&Cie welcomes two new colleagues to its office in the Grand Duchy. With each bringing around 40 years of experience in international finance, they are valuable additions to our team and to our clients. Peter De Staercke (left) will be primarily responsible for managing and further expanding Colin&Cie's private and corporate client base in Belgium and the Netherlands. Matthias Ringler will focus on advising corporate clients in Germany.
Peter De Staercke grew up in Flanders, the northern part of Belgium. He completed his studies in Ghent with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a bachelor's degree in banking and finance. He spent the first thirteen years of his professional career at ING Bank in Ghent, ten of which as a branch manager. In 1998, he moved to Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A.'s Wealth Management division as a client advisor. There, he developed into an accomplished financial expert and strategic partner who reliably supports his clients in securing and optimising their assets. Peter is fluent in Dutch, German, French, English and Luxembourgish. He is married and has three adult children. Peter lives with his wife on the Luxembourg Moselle. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going on e-bike tours and sailing catamarans.

Matthias Ringler began his professional career in the money trading division with major corporate clients at Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank AG in Munich. After a year at Hypo-Bank AG in London, Matthias moved to Postbank Luxembourg in 1993, later member of the Deutsche Bank Group. As Head of Corporate Clients, he was responsible for advising companies on security-oriented asset investments and the efficient management of corporate risks – a role that combines traditional corporate client advisory services with professional asset management, enabling tailor-made solutions for complex financial situations. Matthias Ringler is married, has three children and lives with his family in Luxembourg. He very much enjoys golf and football, as well as travel and history.
When asked about his goals at Colin&Cie, Matthias replies: “After a long career at major banks, I wanted to consciously reshape the next stage of my professional life. I had been interested in and followed independent wealth managers for a long time. At Colin&Cie, I combine the experience I have gained over many years and countless discussions with decision-makers with an innovative, solution-oriented consulting approach – to create real added value for entrepreneurs.”
