Geo Pini starts as client advisor in Lugano

Colin&Cie is delighted to welcome Geo Pini as a new colleague at its Lugano office. Born and raised in Ticino, he brings many years of experience in client advisory services, asset management and corporate governance to our team. In the following article, you’ll get to know Geo Pini better, both as a wealth management advisor and as a person.

Geo first attended the commercial high school in Locarno before successfully completing his studies in business administration at the university of Lugano. He began his professional career in 2003 in private banking at Credit Suisse in Ascona. He then worked at banks in Ticino and Zurich, serving wealthy private clients from Switzerland. In 2012, he joined the management team of a Locarno-based trading company with 25 employees.

A few years later, Geo returned to the financial world when he joined the Swiss subsidiary of Banque International à Luxembourg in Lugano. There, he was responsible for business development in the areas of private banking and external asset managers. Before joining Colin&Cie, Geo was a partner and managing director at the management consultancy Fenicks Capital Swiss GmbH.

In addition to Italian, his native language, Geo is also fluent in German, French and English. He is very much looking forward to his new role: "At Colin&Cie, I can put my skills to ideal use: listening to people, developing the right solutions after careful analysis and building trusting relationships on that basis. Colin&Cie offers a strong value proposition and the right tools – I want to use this to offer my clients genuine, tangible added value. The need for innovation and more personalised services in wealth management is also growing significantly in Ticino. I see this as a great opportunity."

Geo Pini lives with his wife and two children in Ascona, a popular holiday resort on Lake Maggiore. He enjoys sports in his free time: in summer he runs and plays golf, while in winter he takes his family skiing in the mountains. As president of the Life in Motion association, he is also committed to promoting dance as a cultural and social activity.
