Walter Wichert joins the Board of Directors of Colin&Cie Switzerland Ltd.

We are delighted to welcome Walter Wichert as a new member of the Board of Directors of Colin&Cie Switzerland Ltd. Thanks to an impressive career in the Swiss banking sector and proven expertise in external asset management, Walter Wichert will collaborate closely with our company in the future and make an important contribution to achieving our growth targets.

Walter Wichert has over 40 years of experience in the financial sector. After graduating in business administration from the Kaderschule Zürich, he began his career at Credit Suisse, where he worked for ten years. He then moved to Julius Bär, where he was responsible for supporting external asset managers and family offices and developing related services for more than two decades. His role included the strategic orientation of the German-speaking Swiss market and the development of markets in the UK and Asia. He was also responsible for operational management and had overall financial responsibility for this important business segment. Most recently, he held a similar management position for eight years at LGT Private Banking for the German-speaking Swiss market.

Walter Wichert is looking forward to his new role on the Board of Directors at Colin&Cie: "I have worked with external, independent asset managers for many years in my professional life. I am therefore familiar with the advantages, needs, and challenges of this industry. I am looking forward to contributing my knowledge, experience and – where appropriate – my network to a former business partner. This includes both monitoring corporate governance and supporting management. I have followed Colin&Cie's journey to becoming one of the largest independent wealth managers in Switzerland and Luxembourg with great interest over the past few years. The service model, based on honesty, customer focus and a holistic approach, is in line with my values and my idea of professional asset management. I am highly motivated to put the expertise I have built up over many years to good use at Colin&Cie and to actively support the company on its path to further growth."

Walter Wichert lives in the municipality of Stäfa on Lake Zurich, where he enjoys nature and the wide range of leisure activities on offer. For more than 15 years, he has been volunteering as president of PluSport Zurich, an organisation that promotes the integration of people with disabilities through sport.
