Social Responsibility Initiative – Survey results and distribution in 2026

Earlier this July, investors in the Social Responsibility Fund were invited to participate in the annual survey determining the priority areas for the fund’s charitable allocations. The results are now in, and the distribution amount designated as a donation has been confirmed. In 2026, a total of eleven projects delivered by charitable organisations across the regions where Colin&Cie operates will receive support. Further details can be found in the following article, which is provided as marketing communication for information purposes only.

A success story for investors and society

Since its launch in 2019, the Social Responsibility Fund has enabled Colin&Cie clients to invest their assets sustainably while contributing directly to meaningful social impact. By allocating a portion of the fund’s proceeds to carefully selected community initiatives, investors help generate lasting value beyond financial returns. With this year’s distribution, the cumulative amount channelled to regional charitable organisations since the fund’s inception will reach CHF 1.4 million. Moreover, through its strategic partnership with the Swiss Red Cross in Bern, Colin&Cie will have contributed approximately CHF 400,000 from the fund’s management fees following the 2026 allocation.

Alongside this measurable social impact, investors have benefited from strong investment performance. From the fund’s launch in April 2019 to 30 June 2026, it delivered a cumulative return of approximately 70% in euro terms and 55% in Swiss franc terms.

2026 Survey results

In this year’s survey, 53% of votes were cast in favour of projects focused on poverty alleviation. The outcome reflects investors’ commitment to the principle that no one should be left behind. Reducing social inequality and expanding access to education, employment and community participation are essential foundations for a life with dignity and opportunity. The projects supported by Colin&Cie and its clients address a wide range of social challenges, including holiday camps for children affected by poverty, mentoring programmes for young people during vocational training, employment support for recognised refugees, and financial assistance for a low-income family with a seriously ill child.

The remaining 47% of votes were allocated to healthcare-related initiatives. These projects aim to improve access to medical care and enhance quality of life for individuals facing health challenges. Areas of support include reliable treatment options, mental health services, and professional assistance for people living with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Examples of funded projects by Colin&Cie and its clients include providing seriously ill children with access to hospice care, accompanying individuals with limited mobility to medical appointments, supporting outpatient mental health services, and equipping first responders to ensure rapid emergency assistance in rural communities.

2026 Distribution

This year, CHF 260,000 will be distributed to regional charitable projects. Generated through the fund’s successful investment strategy, which focuses on high-quality dividend-paying companies, these proceeds can now be directed towards initiatives that create meaningful and lasting social impact. In Switzerland, the cantonal branches of the Swiss Red Cross in Zurich, Schaffhausen, Zug and Ticino will receive support. In Germany, funding will benefit the German Red Cross district associations of Trier-Saarburg and Bitburg-Prüm, DRK Hospital Saarlouis and the charitable organisation Fifty One Trier. In Luxembourg, support will be provided to the nestwärme network. Over the coming weeks, Colin&Cie’s project representatives will meet with the partner organisations to present symbolic cheques and discuss the implementation of the supported measures on the ground.

The contribution made by Colin&Cie to the Swiss Red Cross in Bern amounts CHF 70,000 this year.
